Did you make resolutions for this year? Hope you haven’t given up on them?
Anyway, this morning after filling up my intestine with breakfast fuel; I received some inspiration. So, I picked up this keyboard to type so I can share them with you immediately.
Why?
I don’t want them to die inside of me because I received them from the power….
Which Power?
I know you will ask, that’s how you people challenge prophets. But, I’m not a prophet. I’m only inspired to share these with you. So, don’t dare challenge me -:) I know your time is precious. Just give me a few minutes… I promise you will find this message really helpful and you won’t regret reading it to the end….no matter what time of the year or whichever year you’re reading this. But the earlier, the better.
PREDICTION #1:
My first prediction is on Social Media:
“Social Media Platforms are not going away.”
Yes, social media, I mean platforms like FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, LINKEDIN, TWITTER, SNAPCHAT, etc…
What I’m saying, in essence, is that you will still be able to use these platforms this year and beyond. And they will have something to do with your destiny.
What to Do
Don’t resent Facebook or any of these platforms. Whether you like them or not, they are already part of your way of life. Don’t be a spectator on them. Instead, grab any of these platforms or as many as you can by the throat. Squeeze all you can out of them.
In simple terms?
I’m simply saying, take Full advantage of these platforms and let them benefit your career, business or whatever you do.
Consider this; as of the third quarter of 2017, Facebook had over 2.1 billion monthly users worldwide and over 16 million monthly users in Nigeria. Imagine how big those figures are…. For your information, I’m sure those figures have increased tremendously but I don’t have the statistics now. And before this runs out, more and more people are going to join these platforms and more people are going to use them more and more. And these platforms will get bigger and bigger. What do you think all these are telling you?
It means opportunities…networking, connections, businesses, sales, money etc
So how do you go about taking advantage of this year?
A. If you have a business or a product, position yourself and build attention to your business or product on these platforms.
B. If you don’t have a business or product yet, find out what a group of people on these platforms want. Find the solution to a problem they needed to be solved. Then, position yourself as the solution provider and build attention around that “want or need”.
In either of the case, learn to make them have fun while you help them. And one more important thing… learn to ask for money in exchange for your product or service. And your life will never remain the same again.
PREDICTION #2:
Buhari is not going to care about your problems
I’m not a politician but I think the president is doing all he believes are great. Even after him, trust me, another messiah you think is coming to save you will still disappoint you…. So, stop insulting the old man. The problem is not him. It’s YOU. Because you’ve trusted the Government. You’ve trusted the system with your means of livelihood. You’re thinking and hoping the Government should provide better this and that…although, it’s their duty to provide an enabling environment. But what if they fail to do it? Are you going to wait for them? That’s why you’re being disappointed. Everywhere in the world, Governments will always promise and disappoint. It’s in their habits. But if you wait, you might wait and complain forever.
What to do about it
Stop trusting anybody or the government with things that make you happy. Take total control. Be in charge. If you want to improve your personal economy and your life in general. Stop watching or listening to the news except you’re in the news business. Find something worth doing with your time. Instead of watching the government and all the bad news around, be in the news yourself and let the world watch you achieving your worthy goals. This way you can change the narratives of your life.
How do you go about that?
You can start doing what I advised in prediction #1 above.
PREDICTION #3:
I’m reluctant to tell you this but I can’t help, I just have to…
You’re going to get slapped in the face.
No! No!! No!!! This does not mean a human being or a demon is going to raise his or her hand against your fine cheeks. I mean you’re going to have situations where you’re going to be disappointed. You can be in the right place at the right time. You can have the right product in the right market and still not get the right payoff. Somebody somewhere might let you down. These are disappointments.
Don’t see me as a prophet of doom. I’m not one… These are just the realities of life.
And don’t let anyone deceive you that things will always go the way you want. The fact is life isn’t fair. If you’re going to do something great on this planet, Greatness is going to test you.
What to do about it
Grow up!
Stop Complaining!
This is life….it cares not about your success or failure and it’s neither it’s business. It’s your own duty. So, you need to have serious commitment…
You need to become intentional and proactive about what you do. Stop blaming things on others. Start taking responsibility for everything in your life. Be the person that makes things happen and not let things just be happening to you. Always be prepared for the worst that can happen and be ready to handle it.
Be like an ant. You can’t stop an ant by blocking its path. It will always find another path. And if you take things this way, you can take control and be in charge of your life to make great things happen.
The wise one once said; a candle is brightest when it’s on fire and burns into the table, leaving a permanent dark stain. If you don’t know how to handle the fire, you’ll never light up the room so everyone else can see.”
PREDICTION #4:
Blockchain technology shall be unpredictable.
Do you know the blockchain?
It’s a new form of money market called cryptocurrency and it’s making waves with BITCOIN AND other ALTCOINS (alternative coins).
This market shall become more popular but the market will be totally unpredictable. A lot more speculators and scammers are going to join the industry. Apart from Bitcoins, more and more altcoins are going to be introduced to join over 1400 that are already in existence.
And lots of these coins are going to be competing in the market. In all, only a few might end up being great coins while many will be useless and scams. It’s a volatile industry, a lot of people are going to lose money while a few are going to make it.
What to do about this
Keep a watch on this industry. Although, it’s a billion-dollar industry already. But, don’t just dabble in it unless you know what you doing.
If you already have an existing business or you’re trying to start one, don’t let the noise from this industry stop you from concentrating, running, and growing your real business or career. Just learn about it and if possible, find creative ways it can be incorporated to help your business.
If you have some money that won’t make your blood pressure rise too much in case you lose it, find some coins with good potentials and invest in them. Who knows, it may end up being a great investment. And if it happens the other way, best of luck in your other shot at life.
The most guaranteed way to invest in this industry and earn great returns on your investments might be through the good old back doors, not the speculative ways. So, open your eyes and find those great back doors because speculators are liable to lose.
PREDICTION #5:
Heaven is not Going to fall on the little chicken.
As simple as it’s, that’s the truth. Most of your fears won’t come to pass.
Most imaginary things you’re afraid of won’t kill you or cause you problems. Except you see danger and you intentionally run into it. That’s suicide anyway. Don’t do it.
What to do about this
Get your head straight. Face your FEARS and get used to it. Be bold in things you have been acting like a little Chicken and mighty things will come your way.
PREDICTION #6:
I also need to tell you this, because the certainty is high:
Your Dream is Not Going to Come True While You Sleep.
You can daydream in broad daylight and you can dream while you sleep at night. You might have been dreaming the whole of your life. It’s just what it is. That dream might have great potentials but it’s not going to come to reality while you sleep.
What to do
You can dream. In fact, you must have a dream. But don’t just dream about success. Start working your way towards success. Have a plan, get focused, be persistent, always upgrade your plan to the next level and be consistent in following through. And thou shalt be great.
PREDICTION #7:
The Best Investment You Will Ever Make in Your Lifetime.
There’s one great investment I will like to tell you about. It is an investment that will give you multiple great returns on investment for years to come. The returns will be so great that you will begin to care less about Politics, Fuel Scarcity, and all your worries about the government. Mind you, this is not about investing in gold, diamond, crude oil, the money market, or the almighty BITCOINS. It’s far greater than all these.
